IA Records welcome another new signing to the label for our fourth release of 2013. Daniel Brooks of Coventry here in the UK works within the realms of club focused house music. Dark and rolling right through to summer time on the terrace. Having completed a music tech course and being introduced to Ableton in 2007 Daniel has clearly been putting the hours in at the studio. Recent support from B.Traits and Hannah Wants as part of a collaboration project with local DJ and producer Suck Fake confirms the potential we are dealing with here, we are honoured and eager to be releasing the Dark City EP this Summer.

3 full bodied and energy fuelled originals feature on the EP, ‘Together’, ‘Higher’ and ‘Citys’. No messing about, these are aimed squarely at making the floor bump. On remix duties we called upon the now IA regulars, Pablo Rocc and Afreit. Their take on Citys gets rude and rolling with a grimey house burn out. Another regular of the label, Ruben Brundell flips Higher into a summer garage affair, BBQ stylee.
